Based on Sholom Aleichem’s Tevye and his Daughters, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is the beloved story of the small, traditional town of Anatevka, where Jews and Russians live in a delicate balance. The show focuses on Tevye, a father of five daughters, as he embraces and challanges the time honored traditions of Anatevka, as he watches his daughters grow up and fall in love in a time riddled with conflict.

Rich in historical and ethnic detail, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF has touched audiences around the world with its humour, warmth and honesty. It's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.
